Yes there are a few daffodils poking out in the front yard but that is not the sign that showed me spring was here.
The 3am tornado sirens going off was the clue. Actually in the town near us but close enough.
So at 3am we had the TV on. It went to the west of us, but still I know it wont be the last huge storm. Spring is here and with it comes the severe storms...not looking forward to that.

I was visiting my mother last fall (in Ohio) and they had a tornado warning. I've never heard tornado alarms before. It must be both scary and annoying to hear them all the time! I hope all will be well by you and you never have one touch down near your home!
We had a tornado last night, I think. Here in Kansas...it was very windy and there was rain and then the hail came.
Thank God I have a car port.

I like living in Oklahoma. The only thing I hate about it is the tornados and bad storms. They never bothered me much until I became a mother, now I worry...
