For sleeping outside there sure is a lot to do.
Going camping this weekend. I am not an outdoor kinda gal, but the kids and hubby really enjoy it, so camping I will go.
The ice chest is loaded, fishing poles, licenses bought, food ready and planned, sunscreen, bug stuff, and various other items are ready to go.
Just lots to get together for camping. We are planning on doing more camping, so maybe it will get easier as I see what we use more of etc.
Going to be lots of swimming, fishing and grilling.

Time to update the header. I started this blog in 2004 and while I am still a busy busy mommy it is different now. With mine both in highschool somethings have really changed over the years but still others remain the same. I love having my little corner in the internet to document and discuss being a busy busy mommy.

Have fun and yes it will get easier the more you do it. I remember when we went camping as kids, we had to pack the camper and stuff which we hated but then we looked forward to getting where we were going so come packing time we were excited and it didn't seem that bad.
This goes along with your "summer bag" from WFMW...I have a lake bag! We go to the lake and do a cookout and fishing time. We don't spend the night...but I have a bag that has all the lake essentials: bugspray, sunscreen (we must have 10 bottles of the stuff), papertowels, plastic bags to use for garbage, a plastic tablecloth for the picnic table, matches to light the fire, picnic type plates/silverware, etc...all packed and ready to go. So when hubby decides he wants to go to the lake, I just have to grab the food, and we're off!
