I work out of the home, and currently the only things I really make in my crockpot while I'm at work are roast, red beans & rice, and beef stew. I desperately needed more crockpot recipes...thank you!!!

I love crock potting! I am always on the lookout for more recipes. But, I have a question - you brown ground meat in the microwave? That's a new one ... can you explain how you do this? I am bookmarking your site, thanks for the great WFMW! :)

Yes I brown the hamburger meat in the microwave. I dont do this all the time but I have found it really makes no difference to texture/taste if it is going to be added to soups. I use my round glass bakeware I crumble the raw meat and diced onions in it microwave it for a few mintues then stir it and then finish it up. Takes a few minutes. I drain it off crumble it up and toss it in my soups.
