Gettin ready for the week

Weekend flew by. Hubby had to work this weekend so the kids and I were on our own. We had a good weekend. Got errands ran yesterday and went to a birthday party.

Today Sunday School and then home. The kids played games while I prepared lesson plans it is still taking me quite sometime to get my lesson plans done for the week, but I am still learning what I like and don't so I change them up a little each week. Add that to the fact that I am a perfectionist and it makes it a long process.

Menu is done for the week, calendar is plotted, to do lists are ready.....so I guess Monday here we come...ready or not.

Good news is family drama seems to be on the downslide or it at least seems that way to me (could be that I have become better at ignoring my cell phone)!

Sounds like a plan. I have noticed that I tried to follow a schedule of time the first few days of homeschool but its just easier if we go with the flow and just do the things we need to do then like library visits we do maybe an hour after homeschool ends cause the library doesn't open til 930 and we are done with homeschool by 830 and maybe do a craft or something later in the day. I try to think of things for him to do that don't seem like its work. I will say get me three potatoes out for dinner well he has to go count em lol.
You get into a rythym with what works and doesn't
