Yard Sale Success

Yard sale is over I made almost $500.00. Which is great, but if you add in all the hours I spent preparing, the labor of putting it out, sitting out with it, loading the leftovers, etc...I don't know if I made minimum wage. But it is all out of here now, we donated the leftovers to a church for their youth yard sale. Now I need sleep.

The way my house sits and the way the entrance to the housing district is from the road is just the absolute best location for yard sale. That is why all my friends drag their stuff over here.

Luckily I dont have to advertise but I know some that do. I say big signs are key I use the neon poster board from WalMart. I also make sure everything is priced because that always ticks me off to have to ask about everything, it is one thing to bicker but to not even know the starting price is annoying for shoppers. Set it up in groupings the best you can all kids clotehs together, housewares, etc.
